Coulibistrie

Coulibistrie is a town in the Saint Joseph Parish of Dominica. It is largely a sleepy residential town with few businesses. The town is a community of farmers and fishermen with a few people engaged in commercial businesses. The inhabitants are less than 1,000 people.

Coulibistrie is administered together with adjoining Salisbury in the House of Assembly and represented by a parliamentarian. It is governed by the Coulibistrie/Morne Racquette village council.

The village celebrates an annual feast known as the Saint Anne festival in July. Coulibistrie has a number of fascinating attractions, but the historic Coulibistrie Roman Catholic Church remains a centre of tourism.

Coulibistrie is located between Colihaut to the north and Morne Raquette to the south, and it extends inland from the coast.
