Neva Augustina Edwards

Neva Augustina Edwards was the Speaker of the House of Assembly from 1993 to 1995. Born in 1931, she is a lay preacher with the Methodist Church and a former civil servant with the government.

Neva Edwards was honoured with the Meritorious Service Award in 1991, and was nominated for the CARICOM Award for Women in 1999. She was inducted into the Hero’s Park in 2011 in Marigot village.
