Dominica seeks Concacaf League B spot in pivotal clash with British Virgin Islands

Vice-captain of the Men’s Senior National Football Team Briel Thomas says the team is focused and upbeat ahead of their next match in the Concacaf Nation’s League this week.

Dominica will play the British Virgin Islands in the return leg of their Group C, League C fixture on Thursday 16th November at the A.O Shirley Recreation Ground in Tortola.

The two teams had played to a 1-1 draw in St Lucia in October.

The BVI tops the group with 5 points, but just one game in hand, while Dominica is in second place on 4 points with two games in hand.

A victory for Dominica on Thursday will guarantee them qualification for League B in the next Concacaf Nations League.

The Men’s Senior National Team will leave for Tortola on Monday 13th November.

Dominica will also play the Turks and Caicos Islands on the 20th of November at the same venue in Tortola.
