Gaulette River, Kalinago Village

Gaulette River is a small hamlet located within the Kalinago Territory on Dominica’s Northeast coast. Positioned between the larger communities of Salybia and Mahaut River on the East Coast Road, this community plays an essential role in the cultural and social life of the Kalinago people. Gaulette River in Saint David Parish is part of the Kalinago Territory’s eight villages, including Sineku, Mahaut River, St. Cyr, Salybia, Bataka, Crayfish River, and Concord (Atkinson is not one of the hamlets). It is not too far away fromn attractions like the Jolly John Memorial Park and Kalinago Barana Autê, with the East Coast Road and Ravine Gaulette running through it.

Gaulette River is a vital part of the Kalinago community, contributing to the preservation of the Kalinago way of life.
