Roseau Central

Roseau Central is the vibrant core of Dominica’s capital, Roseau, located in Saint George Parish. This area serves as the island’s administrative, commercial, and cultural hub, blending modern infrastructure with historic charm. The district has significant landmarks such as the Dominica Government Headquarters, Financial Center, Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force (CDPF), Windsor Park Sports Stadium, Old Market Square and the Roseau Cruise Ship Berth, making it a focal point for the island’s tourism, economic, and government activities.

Roseau Central Constituency Boundry

  • North: The boundary begins at the estuary of the Roseau River, following the river upstream to a point west of the Teachers’ Training College at Bath Estate.
  • North-East: From the point west of the Teachers’ Training College, the boundary continues along the river in a south-easterly direction to a location known as Under Power.
  • South-East: From Under Power, the boundary moves in a south-westerly direction to the eastern gate of the Botanic Gardens. It then follows the Main Road through the gardens to the southern gate, and continues along Bath Road to its intersection with Victoria Street, extending straight to the Caribbean Sea.
