Dublanc River

The Dublanc River is confined to Saint Peter Parish. It originates in Morne Diablotin National Park from the northwestern slopes of Morne Diablotin, Dominica’s tallest mountain.

Flow of the Dublanc River

Flowing westward, the Dublanc River feeds Syndicate Falls, while the Fond Pie River is a tributary. As it meanders down, it passes the areas of Fond Hunte Estate, L’Autre Bord, Fondchere and Saut d’Eau before cutting through the village of Dublanc and discharging into the West Coast’s Caribbean Sea. Lush tropical landscapes surround the river and are an essential part of the village’s ecosystem, supporting local agriculture and contributing to the region’s scenic beauty. The river also plays a role in eco-tourism, with nearby trails offering access to stunning natural features like the Syndicate Nature Trail.
