EDPM Teacher

Job Description

Join Orion Academy as a part-time EDPM Teacher, where you’ll teach students the foundations of electronic document preparation and management. Help them develop practical skills in using word processors and spreadsheets while fostering an appreciation for technology's role in modern life.

Responsibility

• Introduce basic document preparation skills.
• Teach proper formatting of business and academic documents.
• Provide hands-on instruction in word processors and spreadsheets.
• Create engaging lesson plans for practical learning.
• Monitor and support student progress.
• Prepare students for school-level assessments in EDPM.
• Encourage responsible use of technology.
• Maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.

Experience and Qualifications

• Candidate must have an associate degree or higher in the subject area.
• Prior completion of at least one year of teacher training or relevant teaching certification would be advantageous.
• Candidate has in-depth knowledge in the area of interest applied for.
• Candidate exhibits very good written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and effective communication with colleagues, students and parents.
• Candidate is proficient in utilizing technology for teaching, including an understanding of google classroom, and other digital tools used in an educational setting.
