In alignment with global banking practices, the National Bank of Dominica Ltd. (NBD) will no longer be accepting Euro and GBP drafts for processing. This change came into effect on January 1st, 2025.
This transition reflects efforts to modernize and streamline international payment systems, ensuring faster, more secure, and efficient transactions. Additionally, we anticipate that our other correspondent banks may soon discontinue the issuance of cheques for other currencies.
We encourage customers to utilize NBD’s Wire Transfer option, conveniently available online and in-branch, as an alternative means to facilitate this service. Normal wire transfer fees will apply. Please visit our website, nbdominica.com, for our schedule of fees and charges.
