Trevor Johnson Says He Reports Undocumented Dominicans in the US to ICE
Trevor “Tossy” Johnson, a Dominican resident in Trinidad and Tobago, said he reports undocumented Dominicans in the United States to the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency. He said he focuses on undocumented Dominicans who recruit other Dominicans in America to return home to vote for the DLP in the coming December 6 elections.
According to the self-imposed law enforcer, Johnson said it is wrong for a Dominican who resides illegally without papers in the United States to recruit others to return back home to vote for the DLP in the general elections. He said he already reported 52 such people to the US government via ICE and would continue to do so except such people stop their mischief.
“I have made 52 reports to ICE,” Johnson boasted. “I have had a list of people who are engaged…there are operatives of the Dominica Labour Party who are there illegally and are assisting the Dominica Labour Party in putting [together] a list of names to come to Dominica for the upcoming general election.”
He further revealed that he already forwarded the names and addresses and telephone numbers of such people to ICE for necessary action. Johnson said he has no problem with the DLP winning the coming elections, but it must be in a free and fair manner and without resorting to illegalities in foreign countries. He said “I’m going to do what I am doing and I am going to continue” except the illegal immigrants stop recruiting people for the coming elections in Dominica.
He said those who are already reported know themselves, and that “there is one, in particular, I called her…and as soon as she recognized my voice, she hung up.” He emphasized that Dominicans living legally in the US have nothing to fear so long they do not engage in unlawful activities, but illegal immigrants engaging in illegal activities will not find it funny at all if reported.
“The part I am handling is to report the people who are sitting down in the US who are not doing anything good for themselves; who don’t want to see a better Dominica where the Dominicans at home are doing a lot better than them…they cannot return to Dominica and they do not want to see a better Dominica…” he lamented.
