The General Nursing Council for Dominica informs ALL nurses registered with the Council that renewal of licenses has begun on Monday, November 7th 2022.
Please note that:
- Licenses will now be issued for a period of two (2) years
- Applicants will be required to show proof of continuing education which includes current ALS or BLS certification
- A new electronic system of registration has been established at the office. All nurses who have not already done so, need to update their personal information.
- The system cannot produce a license if the required information is missing!!
My license expires in December and I would like to renew it. However, I live in the US. I am unsure whether I have to update my personal information in the new electronic registration system. Please guide accordingly. Thanks
Hi Marlene, I am just thinking aloud here, but to renew your license from the US, I would directly contact the GNC for guidance on updating personal information in the electronic registration system.
