Responsibility

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chef at Atlantique View Resort & Spa in Roseau, Dominica. The Chef will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with the kitchen and culinary operations. This includes menu planning, food preparation, cooking, maintaining food safety standards, managing inventory, and ensuring high-quality dining experiences for guests.

Experience and Qualifications

• Experience in menu planning, food preparation, and cooking
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
• Strong culinary skills and creativity
• Ability to manage inventory and control food costs
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for culinary excellence
• Previous experience in a similar role or a luxury resort is a plus
• Culinary certifications or formal culinary training is a plus
