Job Description
Dominica Air and Sea Ports Authority -(DASPA) is hiring Dock Workers to manage cargo operations at the port. This physical role involves loading, unloading, and ensuring efficient cargo handling.
Responsibility
- Load and unload cargo from ships
- Inspect cargo for damage or discrepancies
- Operate machinery for port operations
- Ensure safe handling and storage of goods
- Support port logistics and security protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and safety at workstations
Experience and Qualifications
- Physical strength and stamina

Dominica Air and Sea Ports Authority (DASPA) is charged with providing a coordinated and integrated system of airports, seaports, port services, as well as managing the assets, liabilities, resources, and functions of the ports. The DASPA Act allows the Authority to contract out any of these responsibilities, with the authorization of the Minister. DASPA provides tailgating, stevedoring and longshore services at the seaports while ground handling is provided by private local companies at the airports.
