The Agriculture Investment Unit (AIU) in Dominica is a key division within the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries Blue and Green Economy. Established in 2008, the AIU focuses on the development and coordination of investment plans for the non-banana agriculture sector. Its primary goal is to attract agro-entrepreneurs to invest in the agricultural sector, thereby boosting income and employment.

The Agriculture Investment Unit was founded following a cabinet decision in January 2009. It operates under the Ministry of Agriculture and plays a crucial role in enhancing Dominica's agricultural sector, especially beyond traditional banana cultivation.
