Dominica Arts and Crafts Producers Association (DACPA) is a non-governmental association that is dedicated to supporting, promoting, and developing the arts and crafts sector in Dominica and was incorporated as a non-profit company in January 2011.

Role of Dominica Arts and Crafts Producers Association

1. To establish the Dominica Arts and Crafts Producers Association as a leading contributor to economic growth and tourism;
2. To support employment creation,
3. To empower and encourage artisans and other individuals to rethink what is possible for themselves and their families, create an alternative for living through the transformation and creation of a new identity that will allow them to live more independently today.

What we do at Dominica Arts and Crafts Producers Association

• To increase awareness of the importance of the craft sector to the Dominican economy.
• Act as a lobby group for member artisans.
• Increase production and quality of local arts and crafts and decrease imports of foreign crafts and souvenirs.
• Seek additional local, regional, and international outlets and markets for Dominican craft, including duty-free stores.
• Improve skills and business training opportunities for member artisans.
