Marie School of Music is an organization committed to the advancement of students in the area of music.

A Blast from our Past

Marie School of Music (MSM) is a family-run institution operating since 2012. The school began as a response to the lack of knowledge among students in music theory. It was noticed by our school’s director, Marvin Marie, that students lacked the fundamentals of music theory. Therefore, it was in that capacity in conjunction with his wife Tiffany (who was teaching voice at that time) that Marie School of Music was established.

Presently in Harmony

Prior to the official launch of MSM, Marvin's students achieved 100 % pass rates at both Practical & Theory Music Examinations (ABRSM & DAME) as well as CXC Music. Students who did well under his instruction includes his wife, niece, and nephew. His niece is a teacher at MSM as well as furthering the commitment of being a family-based operation.

Looking towards the Future

Presently, the school has moved forward and now offers classes in music theory, vocal training, trumpet, trombone, recorder, flute, clarinet, and saxophone. We are now including guitar, piano, violin, and drums. These instruments are taught by the island's most talented and competent teachers who have represented Dominica in various genres of music. With over 20 years of Music Education experience, the school is dedicated to providing the highest quality of music education offered on the island.
