The formation of The Rotary Club of Portsmouth dates back to early 2011, with its official charter being celebrated in November 2013. Despite challenges such as the loss of its founding form, the persistence of its founders and support from the district governor led to the successful establishment of the club. Over the years, the club has faced natural disasters but remained resilient, continuously focusing on recovery and service projects to benefit the local community and beyond​.
