Personalized PADI Courses & Dive Adventures

SALT Dive is a reservation-only, conservation and education-based dive operation. Whether you’re trying scuba for the first time or advancing toward professional certification, SALT provides a full range of PADI courses, from Discover Scuba and Open Water Diver to Divemaster internships. Every booking is private, giving guests a dedicated boat, custom dive site selection, and attentive staff to match their interests, skill level, and goals.

Under the leadership of Kayla Rognlie, a seasoned PADI IDC Staff Instructor, the team specializes in eco-conscious training such as Coral Watch, Project AWARE Dive Against Debris, and Coral Reef Conservation. Kayla mentors students of all ages with a passion for environmental stewardship.

Dive Sites & Marine Conservation

Diving the Northwest Coast of Dominica is a treasure trove of marine biodiversity. With shallow coral reefs, steep drop-offs, wrecks, and wall dives, SALT offers both shore diving and boat dives suited to all experience levels. As part of Project AWARE’s Adopt A Dive Site, SALT has adopted Toucari Bay, committing to monthly debris clean-up dives and marine data collection.

Community, Crew & Events

The SALT team includes:

• Richard – Co-owner and chef, known for his fresh local cuisine and equipment expertise.
• Nickroy – A knowledgeable PADI Divemaster with a decade of experience and an eye for marine life.
• Donna – A fisherwoman in training to become a Divemaster, with a passion for coral restoration and fisheries protection.

SALT also hosts regular community events, from beach clean-ups to educational film nights, building awareness and supporting sustainable tourism on the Nature Isle.
