• Historic Roseau Walking Tour: Developed to help visitors explore Roseau's rich architectural heritage through a 16-page leaflet with a three-panel fold-out map and a 30-minute podcast, guiding them through the city's historic sites.
• Advocacy for Preservation: SHAPE has actively called on the government to preserve significant historic buildings, such as the Roseau Public Library, emphasizing the importance of maintaining these structures for cultural and educational purposes.
• Public Awareness Campaigns: The organization engages in efforts to educate the public about the value of Dominica's architectural heritage, encouraging the incorporation of traditional architectural features into modern structures to complement the island's unique architectural identity.

Recent Developments

In 2020, SHAPE was revived after a period of dormancy, electing a new board headed by President Marica Honychurch and Vice-President Michael Lees. This revival was partly in response to the demolition of historic buildings, such as the childhood home of writer Jean Rhys, highlighting the need for active preservation efforts.

Through its dedicated efforts, SHAPE continues to play a crucial role in preserving Dominica's architectural heritage, ensuring that the island's unique built environment is valued and maintained for future generations.
