Founded in March 2022, WaituCirque evolved from its original association with CircArtive, a circus school in Germany, to establish its unique identity and creative direction.

WaituCirque began as WaituCircartive, reflecting its origins with the German circus school, CircArtive. The group changed its name to signify a move towards greater independence while continuing to grow and diversify its offerings in Dominica. This circus organization is the only one of its kind on the island, dedicated to enhancing awareness and appreciation of the arts through public performances and workshops. They offer various services, including custom performances for events, circus skills workshops, and private lessons, aimed at promoting the arts and engaging the community.
