Pappa, Chik-i-lik (Plumbeous Warbler)

Pappa, Chik-i-lik (Plumbeous Warbler – Setophaga plumbea) found only in Dominica and Guadeloupe. Its high-pitched metallic call is commonly heard in the dense vegetation of the interior of Dominica. This warbler is particularly active near Morne Anglais and the Waitukubuli National Trail, feeding on insects and small invertebrates, adding to the region’s rich biodiversity.
