Emmanuel Andrew was a humble and dedicated athlete from Marigot, Saint Andrew Parish, Dominica. Known for his kind-hearted nature and unwavering commitment to his community, Emmanuel was a long-distance runner who competed in races across the island. The son of the late Nicholas Andrew and Martha Andrew, Emmanuel grew up in a hardworking family and was deeply respected for his selflessness and ability to balance multiple responsibilities. His athletic pursuits, especially in his home region of Marigot, earned him recognition among his peers and locals. Tragically, Emmanuel was struck by a truck in Marigot and succumbed to his injuries, a loss that deeply impacted his community.

His athletic endeavours, particularly in events like the Emmanuel Andrew Memorial 10K, inspired many in the Marigot and Concord areas, as he embodied a spirit of resilience and dedication. Even outside of athletics, Emmanuel was known for his hardworking attitude, often taking on multiple responsibilities, including supporting family members and helping with community initiatives.
