Ferdina Frampton
Ferdina Frampton (born December 1, 1974 – died January 17, 2024) was a distinguished media personality and communications expert in Dominica. A proud alumna of the Dominica Grammar School, she studied at the University of the West Indies, where she honed her skills in media and communications. Ferdina began her career as an announcer and news reporter at the Dominica Broadcasting Corporation (DBS Radio), where her engaging style and insightful reporting quickly made her a respected voice in the industry.

In 2005, Frampton joined Cable & Wireless Communications (now FLOW Dominica) as the Senior Marketing & Communications Lead, a position she held until her untimely passing. In this role, she significantly influenced the company’s public relations and marketing strategies, establishing herself as a critical figure in Dominica’s communications sector. She was best known as the host of the popular “In the Spot Light Radio Show” on Q95FM, where she brought to light important social, cultural, and political issues, earning widespread respect and admiration.
Her dedication extended beyond the media. She was actively involved in several charitable organizations, including the President’s Charities Foundation and the Dominica Red Cross.
