Geneva

Geneva is a village in the Saint Patrick Parish of Dominica.

This is a village community of farmers and fishermen.

One of the outstanding natural features of this village is the Geneva River which is 5.69 kilometres in length and very close to the village of Stowe.

There is also the Geneva Estate which is over 600 acres with over 200 tenants inhabiting the estate for residential and farming purposes. This large estate is near the village of Grand Bay.

A Geneva Heritage Project was established in 2011 at the Geneva Estate to enable community groups to research and interpret the archaeological history of the settlement, so that visitors and tourists may access historical data and research on the Geneva village with a view to preserving its cultural resources.
