Hampstead River

Hampstead River begins its journey within the Northern Forest Reserve at the epicentre of the Morne Diablotin National Park, originating from the slopes of the imposing Morne Diablotins. Flowing through Saint Andrew Parish, near the village of Calibishie on Dominica’s Northeast coast, the river meanders into Chaudiere Estate, nourishing the renowned Chaudiere Pool.

Journey to Hampstead Bay

After passing Hampstead Estate, Hampstead River then merges with the Penton River after passing under the Melville Hall – Portsmouth Road, just before both rivers empty into Hampstead Bay, blending with the serene charm of Number One Beach to enhance the area’s natural beauty and allure.
