Laing Street is one of the shorter, less-known streets in Roseau, Dominica. It Borders the back of the Roseau Market and parallels River Bank and Ship Street. It connects with Dame Mary Eugenia Charles Blvd and Hanover Street, directly accessing the Fisheries Division and Dominica Export Import Agency.

Laing Street’s Significance

The street is close (2-3 minute walk) to significant landmarks such as the Roseau Old Market and the Neg Mawon Emancipation Monument. The Roseau River is on the left, and the Roseau Ferry Terminal is to the right, crucial for residents’ and tourists’ daily needs and economic activities.
