Saint David Parish
Saint David Parish is one of the 10 administrative divisions in Dominica. The parish covers an area of 131.6 km2 and with a total population of over 7,000.
The famous Kalinago Territory with a population of 3,000 indigenous Caribs spread over seven villages is located in St. David Parish. The Kalinagos occupy the northern part of the parish and they have their own chief or ruler and live according to their own distinctive lifestyle.
The largest town and the most popular in Saint David is Castle Bruce which has a population of almost 2,000 people. The other villages include –

The entire Saint David Parish is located at the eastern part of Dominica and bordered by other parishes. There is Saint Andrew to the north, the trio of Saint Joseph and Saint Paul and Saint George to the west, and Saint Patrick to the south.
