Sibouli

Sibouli, a name rooted in the Kalinago language, is believed to be derived from the abundance of the Sibouli fish or Black Triggerfish found in nearby waters. This historic area is rich in indigenous culture, reflecting the deep connection between the Kalinago people and their natural environment. Sibouli remains a significant cultural and historical site within Pointe Michel in Saint Luke Parish on the South of Dominica.
