St. Cyr is a vibrant hamlet situated in the Carib/Kalinago Territory on Dominica’s Northeast coast. Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, this community is positioned near Petit L’Ilet, Gros L’Ilet, Kasayu Point, and Pointe Belair, offering stunning coastal views from gentle cliff tops. The hamlet is a key stop on Segment #6 of the Waitukubuli National Trail, providing hikers with both cultural insights and scenic vistas.

St. Cyr in Saint David Parish is part of the Kalinago Territory’s eight villages, including Sineku, Mahaut River, Gaulette River, Salybia, Bataka, Crayfish River, and Concord. It’s only a few minutes away attractions like the Jolly John Memorial Park and Kalinago Barana Autê, with the East Coast Road running through it.

St. Cyr serves as a focal point for the Kalinago Upliftment Project, addressing the needs of the local population through collaboration with various councils, NGOs, and government agencies. The St. Cyr Resource Centre is central to these efforts, hosting numerous community programs and preserving the rich cultural heritage of the Kalinago people.
