Twanblè (Trembler)

The Twanblè (Trembler) gets its name from its characteristic trembling movements while perched. This bird is a frequent visitor to Dominica’s Interior and forests of the northern and central reserves, including the Syndicate Nature Trail. It feeds on insects and fruits, and its soft, trembling calls create a unique soundscape in the island’s wild areas.
