Wamyé (Scaly-naped Pigeon)

Wamyé (Scaly-naped Pigeon) is a large bird “Pigeon” commonly seen along Dominica trails like Emerald Pool and Waitukubuli National Trail. Known for its deep cooing sound and distinctive scaly nape, it is vital in seed dispersal. You can often spot it in the Central Forest Reserve.
