Morne Diablotin

Morne Diablotin is the tallest peak on the island. This majestic mountain towers far above the stratus clouds. It ranks as one of the most challenging hikes on island and we will be there to make sure that everyone does it safely. From the start, the climb begins with very few flat-surface hiking, it is mostly uphill. Certain areas will require both lower and upper body strength as hikers manoeuver through roots, over boulders and muddy trails. We advise that hikers stay very hydrated in the week before the hike, drinking at least 4 liters of water daily (men) and 3 liters daily (women) to prepare the body for the long journey ahead. Also, the Quads and the knees are two areas that is going to be most affected by the hike. So walking, jogging and doing body exercises to prepare and strengthen those areas are advised before hiking. After Hike

Hikers will get to wash out in a nearby stream while we wait for other hikers. Fish water and a drink will be given to hikers.
