Job Description
Take on an exciting leadership role as Dominica Air and Sea Ports Authority (DASPA)’s Airport Manager, where you will be responsible for the efficient operation of airport facilities, regulatory compliance, and customer service excellence. This position is ideal for a results-driven professional with a strong background in aviation operations.
Responsibility
The Airport Manager will have the responsibility to plan, direct and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the airport, maintain and update information on International Civil Aviation Standards and regulations, and to provide such services as required to the travelling public, airline operators, and other stakeholders in the industry.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Administration, Finance, or other related field
- A thorough knowledge of airport operations
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a managerial position
- Knowledge of Air Traffic Control operations would be an asset
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Mature individual who demonstrates a high level of integrity and discipline
Benefits and Others
An attractive remuneration package will be offered. The position will be contractual for two years in the first instance, subject to renewal based on performance.

Dominica Air and Sea Ports Authority (DASPA) is charged with providing a coordinated and integrated system of airports, seaports, port services, as well as managing the assets, liabilities, resources, and functions of the ports. The DASPA Act allows the Authority to contract out any of these responsibilities, with the authorization of the Minister. DASPA provides tailgating, stevedoring and longshore services at the seaports while ground handling is provided by private local companies at the airports.
