Deli Assistant

Job Description

Lindo Mart is currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Deli Assistant to join our new Deli team. As a Deli Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent service to our customers by providing a wide range of fresh and delicious deli products. You will be responsible for assisting customers, preparing food items, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring health and safety regulations in our deli department.

Responsibility

• Assist customers with deli product selections
• Prepare and package fresh deli food items
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitize work areas
• Ensure proper food handling and storage
• Rotate stock to maintain product freshness
• Restock and organize deli display cases
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards
• Support inventory management and ordering processes

Experience and Qualifications

• Previous experience in a deli or food retail environment would be an asset
• Strong communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude
• Attention to small details
• Basic understanding of food safety standards
• Ensure food products are displayed attractively and meet quality standards
• Assist with any other tasks as required by the deli supervisor
