Graphic Designer

Job Description

Trading International Group is a diversified group of companies with trading subsidiaries operating in the Commonwealth of Dominica, St. Lucia, and Sint Maarten/St. Martin. The Group is looking for a Graphic Designer who will be managed through its offices in Dominica.

The Graphic Designer will create and design a wide range of marketing materials and visual assets to support the company's branding and marketing efforts. Work closely with other members of the marketing team, as well as cross-functional teams across the Group, to ensure that all design concepts align with the company's overall marketing strategy and goals. Maintain a comprehensive library of design assets, staying up to date with emerging trends and technologies, and managing multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely delivery of all materials.

Responsibility

• Creating and designing marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, banners, and other promotional items.
• Designing graphics and illustrations for company websites, social media platforms, and other digital marketing materials.
• Developing and designing presentations, infographics, and other visual aids for internal and external use.
• Collaborating with marketing and sales teams to create visual concepts for campaigns and product launches.
• Ensuring that all designs align with the company's branding and messaging guidelines.
• Communicating with external vendors such as printers, photographers, and illustrators to ensure that designs meet the company's quality standards and deadlines.
• Maintaining a comprehensive library of design assets and materials.
• Staying up-to-date with design trends and emerging technologies to ensure that the company's designs remain innovative and fresh.
• Working with cross-functional teams, including product development and engineering, to create visual designs for products and packaging.
• Creating and maintaining templates and style guides for use across the company.

Experience and Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field.
• 2 - 5 years of related experience in 2D and 3D design, motion graphics print layout and publication, visual thinking and communications, and web design
• Works effectively and independently in a high-pressure team environment to manage multiple tasks in parallel.
• Ability to quickly adapt to and communicate changes in program schedules and priorities.
• Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing, including online marketing
