Responsibility
- Assist in the repair and maintenance of vehicles and equipment
- Perform inspections to identify mechanical issues
- Support senior mechanics in troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Ensure proper documentation of repairs and maintenance schedules
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop
Experience and Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics and equipment
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively

- Physical stamina to handle demanding tasks

Dominica Air and Sea Ports Authority (DASPA) is charged with providing a coordinated and integrated system of airports, seaports, port services, as well as managing the assets, liabilities, resources, and functions of the ports. The DASPA Act allows the Authority to contract out any of these responsibilities, with the authorization of the Minister. DASPA provides tailgating, stevedoring and longshore services at the seaports while ground handling is provided by private local companies at the airports.
