Caribbean Airlines is hiring a Marketing Officer - Digital to support and execute digital advertising strategies. This role involves managing online campaigns, social media, and email marketing while assisting in digital media buying. Responsibility
The Digital Officer will report to the Digital Project Manager. The selected candidate Is responsible for the coordination, support, execution and performance reporting of digital advertising initiatives and campaigns, including online advertising and social media.
Accountability:
- Support the execution of social media campaigns marketing strategies; research, updates, and monitoring of social media content for the airlines’ presence on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok and other relevant sites.
- Execute online advertising campaigns such as pay-per click (PPC), SEM and present analysis of campaign results.
- Supports the modification of the content on CAL’s web platforms, social media initiatives, and e-mail marketing campaigns.
- Work with Graphic Design Artist to manage digital library.
- Supports the Digital Project Manager with the execution of design and interactive media projects working alongside the software development team and Graphic artist.
- Drive traffic through affiliate and paid search online marketing channels and develop new traffic drivers that increase qualified visitors to the site over time
- Supports all online marketing promotional campaigns including regular communications such as electronic newsletters and product-specific marketing communications.
- Develop and edit content website, social media initiatives and e-mail marketing campaigns.
Reporting:
- Prepares digital marketing reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing customer data to determine the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Develop monthly forecasts and campaign analysis for online advertising and evaluate impact upon web site and email programs.
- Provides support to stakeholders for other Marketing e-services projects, and divisional departments and external creative development agencies.
- Prepares digital marketing analytic reports for use by the Digital Project Manager by collecting, analysing, and summarizing data for website traffic using analytical tools.
- Analyse current and historical online ad delivery, ad traffic and site profile reports on an ongoing basis to identify trends; predict future inventory needs and provide business intelligence reports to the line manager.
- Monitor campaign results, analyse key metrics, and optimize click-through and conversion rates.
Operational Effectiveness:
- Supports the production of the required deliverables proactively, monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action to achieve quality and schedule within budget.
- Advanced knowledge of Digital marketing reporting tools such as Meta Business Suite, TikTok Business Suite, Youtube Studio, SEMrush, Google Ads, Google Analytics.
- Compelling storytelling through effective digital marketing strategies utilizing videography and photography.
Continuous Improvement:
- Review and reports to Digital Project Manager, current systems and processes for continuous system improvement, exceeding operational goals and standards.
Experience and Qualifications
- You must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Management or equivalent qualification, with a minimum of three (3) years’ demonstrated experience, developing and executing digital marketing strategies.
- You must possess experience in writing, proofreading, web content management, and a thorough understanding of marketing fundamentals. Additionally, you should have experience in video and photo content creation with a demonstrated capability for executing creative ideas from briefs. Proficiency in using standard online analytics, optimization tools, and paid social media platforms is also required.
- You should also possess advanced knowledge of Digital Media Planning and other digital marketing tools such as Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Organization (SEO), display and affiliate marketing. Additionally, advanced knowledge of Digital Marketing reporting tools such as SEMrush, Google Ads and Google Analytics is essential, along with familiarity with digital content monitoring software.
- You must demonstrate a thorough understanding of digital and social media platforms and how to leverage them to further organizational goals. Additionally, you should demonstrate good business acumen with the ability to understand, analyse, and interrogate data to make sound marketing decisions.
- Your job profile must demonstrate proven competency and experience with marketing for social media engagement through visual storytelling.
- Excellent communication skills with an innovative mindset are essential to the role.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite of products is also essential, particularly MS Word, MS Excel.
