Recreation Attendants

Job Description

We are hiring Recreation Attendants at St. Kitts Marriott Resort. You’ll be responsible for encouraging guest participation in recreational activities, promoting a safe atmosphere, and maintaining recreational equipment. Candidates with strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour are encouraged to apply.

Responsibility

• Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests to participate in recreation activities.
• Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests.
• Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities and activities.
• Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facility intended for the safety and welfare of guests and members.
• Observe activity in the recreational facility and respond appropriately in accordance with local operating procedures in the event of an emergency.
• Be aware of possible situations where guests are not able to safely participate in an activity and inform the supervisor/manager.
• Clean and maintain recreational equipment and supplies.

Experience and Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to engage with guests and promote a positive atmosphere.
• Knowledge of recreational activities and facilities.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
