Job Description

The Eastern Caribbean Telecommunications Authority (ECTEL) is seeking a seasoned Sage Accounting Expert to deliver comprehensive training on Sage 50 and other versions of Sage Accounting software. This role involves providing in-depth guidance on budgeting, batch processing, payroll, report writing, and fixed asset management. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Sage solutions and a proven ability to train and support teams effectively.

Responsibility

• Develop Training Modules: Create detailed training materials tailored to Sage Accounting software.
• Conduct Training Sessions: Lead engaging and informative training sessions for ECTEL staff.
• Customize Training Content: Adapt training content to meet specific needs of ECTEL users.
• Provide Hands-On Training: Facilitate practical exercises to enhance user proficiency with Sage Accounting.
• Evaluate Progress: Assess and track participant progress and understanding throughout training.
• Offer Post-Training Support: Provide ongoing support and guidance to staff after training sessions.
• Update Training Materials: Revise and update training materials as Sage software evolves.
• Answer Queries: Address and resolve any queries or issues raised by participants.
• Monitor Software Use: Ensure correct application of Sage Accounting software post-training.
• Prepare Reports: Generate training reports and provide feedback on training effectiveness.
• Conduct Assessments: Evaluate participant skills through assessments and provide recommendations.
• Collaborate with ECTEL: Work closely with ECTEL to align training with organizational goals and needs.

Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Advanced certification in Sage Accounting software.
• Extensive experience with SAGE-50 and other Sage versions.
• Proven track record in delivering software training programs.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, batch processing, payroll, and fixed asset management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to design and develop comprehensive training materials.
• Experience in customizing training for various Sage functionalities.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to assess and evaluate training effectiveness.
• High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
• Experience in providing post-training support.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
