Job Description

St. Kitts Marriott Resort is hiring a part-time Server to provide exceptional food and beverage service to our guests. In this role, you will take orders, answer menu questions, and ensure guest satisfaction. Candidates with strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude are encouraged to apply.

Responsibility

• Serve food courses a to guests.
• Set tables according to type of event and service standards.
• Answer questions on menu selections.
• Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, re-cook orders, and product availability.
• Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen. 
• Record transaction in MICROS system at time of order. 
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day.
• Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc.
• Present physical and accurate check to guest and process payment. 

Experience and Qualifications

• Previous experience in food and beverage service.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow service standards.
• Familiarity with POS systems like MICROS is preferred.
• Ability to handle special requests and dietary needs professionally.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented approach.
