Responsibility

• Planning units of work from prescribed syllabus
• Delivering instruction to designated classes as per timetable
• Evaluating students’ performance in relation to the objectives of the course
• Maintaining student’s records as required by the College
• Supporting the Faculty Dean in miscellaneous institutional strengthening activities

Experience and Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Social Studies
• Proven ability to plan, deliver, and assess lessons in alignment with curriculum standards.
• Teacher training qualifications.
• A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in Social Studies as a trained teacher, preferably at the secondary school level or above.
• Strong pedagogical skills with a focus on inclusivity and meeting diverse classroom needs.
• Proven academic leadership skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Satisfactory professional upgrading or publication
• Proven success in teaching
• Computer literacy
• Good Team player
