Join the dedicated team at Dominica Solid Waste Management Corporation as a Truck Attendant. This physically demanding yet essential role supports the daily collection of solid waste and recyclables across the island. Candidates must be reliable, safety-conscious, and ready to work flexible hours in varying conditions.
Responsibility
- Ride in the cab or on the back of the collection vehicles to load/unload solid wastes/recyclables.
- Collect and dump refuse or recyclable materials from garbage bins and other containers into trucks.
- Safely perform manual tasks timely and efficiently.
Experience and Qualifications
- Primary or Secondary School Education.
- Physically fit and able-bodied.
- Able to work with flexible schedules.
- Possess honorable and respectable character.
Benefits and Others
- Work Hours: Day/Night shift. Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and Public Holidays when necessary.
- Location: Fond Cole, Dominica.
