Job Description
Drive toward a cleaner Dominica with the Dominica Solid Waste Management Corporation. The Truck Driver role supports refuse collection and landfill delivery operations. This position requires 5 years’ experience, Class C license, and a strong commitment to safety and time management across variable shifts.
Responsibility
Drive a truck or van with a capacity of 1.5 tonnes or more to collect refuse within a specified collection area. Take waste to the Sanitary Landfill and deposit materials as directed by site supervisors. Ensure that trucks are in proper and road-worthy condition before leaving the Sanitary Landfill.
Experience and Qualifications
- Attendance at secondary school.
- Ability to work with flexible schedules.
- Valid Class C driving license (clean driving record).
- At least 5 years relevant driving experience required for this job.
- Must be over 25 years of age for insurance purposes.
Benefits and Others
- Work Hours: Day/Night shift. Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and Public Holidays when necessary.
