Job Description

Premium Home Care and Residential Services (PHARCS) is hiring a Laundry Person to manage all laundry operations, ensuring residents’ clothing and linens are cleaned, pressed, and ready for use. If you’re organized, detail-focused, and enjoy maintaining high cleanliness standards, this role offers a chance to contribute meaningfully to our care services.

Responsibility

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry, including clothing, bedding, and linens
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room
• Operate and monitor laundry machines and report maintenance issues
• Use appropriate detergents and cleaning agents for various fabrics
• Ensure timely delivery of laundered items to residents and staff
• Manage inventory of laundry supplies and restock as needed
• Follow hygiene and infection control guidelines
• Handle special requests for delicate or stained items

Experience and Qualifications

• Experience in laundry services or similar roles preferred
• Familiarity with laundry equipment and fabric care
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of hygiene and infection control standards
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Good time management skills to handle daily laundry demands
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
