2025 Dominica Trade Mission: A Platform for Regional Growth

The Dominica Association of Industry & Commerce (DAIC), in collaboration with the Trinidad & Tobago Manufacturers’ Association (TTMA), is pleased to announce the 2025 Dominica Trade Mission, a groundbreaking initiative designed to strengthen regional economic ties and boost trade and investment opportunities between businesses in Dominica and Trinidad & Tobago. Set to take place from January 20 – 22, 2025, this premier event will bring together industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers from both nations. Pre-mission activities, including exclusive networking and strategic planning sessions, will kick off one week prior to the official mission dates.

The Trade Mission will spotlight key sectors such as Food & Beverage, Construction & Building Materials, Logistics, Chemicals & Household Products, Printing & Packaging, and Services, creating an unparalleled platform for meaningful connections, innovative partnerships, and lucrative trade agreements.

Executive Director of the DAIC, Ashma McDougall, expressed her enthusiasm for the initiative; “The 2025 Trade Mission presents a remarkable opportunity for Dominica and Trinidad & Tobago to deepen our economic relationship and open new pathways for growth. This mission will play a crucial role in fostering business collaboration, attracting investment, and building lasting partnerships between our nations. We are thrilled to bring together industry leaders from key sectors, laying the foundation for a dynamic new era of trade and cooperation between Dominica and Trinidad & Tobago. The mission will feature a delegation of more than 40 participants representing over 25 companies across 10 key sectors primarily aimed at unlocking new business prospects for all involved.”

Brenton Hiliare, President of the DAIC, underscored the mission’s significance.

The mission will be a catalyst for economic progress, connecting businesses across industries and laying the foundation for a stronger Dominica economy. By fostering dialogue and collaboration, we are not only facilitating trade, but also demonstrating our unwavering commitment to Dominica’s development. We eagerly anticipate welcoming our Trinidadian counterparts to Dominica for this milestone event and look forward to the many benefits that it will bring to our private sector for years to come.
