Roseau South MP Joshua Francis says that “family is a gift from heaven” and urges people to spend “more time with family”.
Francis is the father of two children a boy and a girl. “I spent time with some mothers in the Roseau South Constituency throughout Mother’s Day, 2019…the most precious moment was with my family, in-laws. Unfortunately my wife, my children, and my mother were absent because they are out of state,” he said.
“My family is me and I am my family. The miles between the other half of my family did not, and cannot take them away; because I carry them in my heart, my mind, and my stomach. I do not just live in a world on my own, but my family lives in me. And the Almighty lives in me,” Francis said.
He is calling on people “not to ever give up on your/our family- because it would be giving up a piece of Heaven.”
