The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) kicks off on Wednesday, August 21 and concludes on Sunday, August 25. It starts with the Women’s Under-17 Football Championship which features four groups of four teams playing against each other with the winner in each group advancing to the 2020 CONCACAF final championship.
Group A plays in Honduras. Group B to which Dominica belongs plays in the Cayman Islands. Group C plays in Barbados. And Group D plays in Curacao. Alanna Finn, a Dominican-native based overseas captains the Dominican female national team, and she is assisted by Starr Humphreys as vice-captain.
Team Dominica will meet with host country Cayman Islands on Wednesday, and then Antigua on Friday and finally Martinique on Sunday.
