All Saints University students and RayAsta Foundation, Village Health Crawl

On Saturday, January 28, 2023, the RayAsta foundation will conduct its first Village Health Crawl from Massacre to Warner, featuring two doctors, three nurses, eight medical students, and the RayAsta team. The Village Health Crawl aims to educate people about stroke, support stroke victims, and offer free health checks to the public.

The RayAsta Foundation expects to interact with at least three hundred individuals during the Village Health Crawl on Saturday and looks forward to a positive reception from the public.

We hope to touch at least three hundred lives on Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm as we embark on our first of many Village Health Crawls in the communities of Massacre, Campbell, Mahaut, Jimmit, and Warner. We will knock on doors, visit barber shops, bars, salons, recreational spaces, and other areas where people congregate. Our medical teams will conduct glucose screening tests, blood pressure checks, stroke risk factor assessments, educate people on stroke prevention, follow up with stroke survivors, and, where necessary, refer individuals for further medical attention. We encourage the public to be open to our support as we volunteer our time towards saving lives and empowering families and communities to make better health decisions.

The Primary Health Care Services and All Saints University are teaming up with the RayAsta Foundation on the Village Crawl.

We feel privileged to be greeted with immediate support from our Primary Health Services and the All Saints University from the first phone call. The Primary Health Care Services is providing us with a doctor and two nurses, and All Saints University is contributing eight senior medical students, one nurse, and one doctor. Our partners are volunteering their time and resources to support our mission, and the RayAsta Foundation is most grateful for their support.
