Arts and Crafts Exhibition and Cultural Showcase at the Old Mill

The DOMFESTA 2019 activities continue tomorrow Friday, May 10th with an Arts and Crafts Exhibition and Cultural Showcase at the Old Mill Cultural Centre starting at 5 pm. As part of the exhibition, there will be cultural performances by Pan in Harmony, Paix Bouche Drummers, Marie Pascale and Tasha and Peter. The performances will begin at 6pm.

The DOMFESTA Art and Craft Exhibition will feature works from artists like Aaron Hamilton, Earl Etienne, Lowell Royer, Alexander Boyce and Carol Sorhaindo among others. Craft exhibits are expected from artisans like Orlando Cuffy, Vanessa Winston, Jamie Cornelius and Madeleine Bonnie among others.

The DOMFESTA event being held tomorrow Friday May 10th at the Old Mill is a free event and the general public is being invited to attend and to give support to Dominica’s artists and craftspersons.

DOMFESTA activities will continue next week with the Primary Schools’ Kweyol Spelling Bee on Wednesday May 15th at the Alliance Francaise at 10am. On Thursday May 16th the DIFA End-of-year concert will take place at the Goodwill Parish Hall from 5 pm and on Saturday August 18th there will be a Community Concert in Coulibistrie from 5 pm.
