Central Cooperative Credit Union has a new Manager; Ms. Cleo Beryl Watt

The Board of Directors of the Central Cooperative Credit Union Limited (CCCUL) announces the appointment of Ms. Cleo Beryl Watt as the General Manager of the Credit Union from May 1, 2020.

In addition to Ms. Watt’s extensive financial background she also has a working knowledge of the Credit Union Movement.  She served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Society and the Board of Directors of the

Dominica Cooperative Societies League.  She is currently the

Treasurer, Board of Directors of the Corporate Enterprise Finance Facility (CORPEFF)/CORPEFF Insurance Co. Ltd.  Ms. Watt has been a member of the Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) since 2015.

Ms. Watt is a strategist, passionate about our mission, committed to our principles and values. Her ability to inspire, empower and connect with our employees, partners and members is exactly what the CCCUL needs.  She is a result-driven, self-motivated and resourceful senior financial professional with a proven ability to provide key financial data, support and reporting to drive key strategic business decisions. Highly experienced in strategic planning, financial management and control, budgeting & forecasting, financial analysis and monitoring makes her a very proactive team player with excellent leadership and communication skills.  Prior to joining the Central Team, Ms. Watt was employed at the Dominica Electricity Services Company (DOMLEC) for twenty years in various positions with her most recent being Financial Analyst.

The Board of Directors, Management and Staff of the Central Cooperative Credit Union Limited welcome Ms. Watt to the Central Team and look forward to working along with her in fulfilling the Society’s Mission.

CCCUL

Central Co-operative Credit Union Limited was registered as a newly formed credit union on July 2, 2007 on the amalgamation of the St. Alphonsus and Portsmouth credit unions. The amalgamation which grew from the strategic and long term planning of these two strong credit unions brought together the second and third largest credit unions on the island.
