DAIC Condemns the Murder of Norman Rolle and Expresses Condolences

The Dominica Association of Industry and Commerce expresses condolences to the family, friends, and employees of Mr. Norman Rolle, the longest standing member and founding Director of the Chamber.

Mr. Rolle is remembered as a stalwart of Dominica’s Business Community and for his consistent support and communication with the Chamber over the years. He is celebrated as a mentor and guide for other businessmen and women, offering advice and insight into enhancing the Private Sector. He also supported the Chamber in budget consultations and always provided feedback that supported the advocacy of the Chamber.

Mr. Rolle was the owner of various businesses including Valley Engineering Sales and Service Ltd., the registered member of the Chamber, where he served as the Managing Director. Mr. Rolle was also a former Chairman and Director of the National Bank of Dominica and a Director of DOMLEC.

DAIC condemns the deadly act of violence against Mr. Rolle and calls for swift justice. Furthermore, all who are knowledgeable about this case are encouraged to come forward.

The Board of Directors and Secretariat wishes comfort, strength and wisdom for all affected by his untimely passing.
